I deleted a couple of mysql databases to get ride of old stuff. Unfortunately, I accidentally deleted all of my wordpress themes (2 of which were done specially for me by Toya and Beng) and plugins folder. For some reason, my index page refused to work, as well. Since I didn't really have the time to check which files were missing, I just upgraded wordpress.

I need to check my emails for those wordpress themes from Toya and Beng. Until then, I would have to use this very basic layout which I had to look for and search in a hurry because the sponsors (textlink and K2ia) want their ads back up.

I use to be able to code by hand on notepad and with Dreamweaver. When I switched to MT and then later to Wordpress, I didn't (still don't) really have the time nor the patience to check the codes in detail anymore since JP was born before I switched. As for web graphics… let's just say that my creative talent is limited to drafting. I am just very lucky that I am friends with many talented people.

See that current icon that I have been using? Antonette made that for me, gratis ét amore. She's my kakulitan sa YM, indianan partner whenever I am in the Philippines, ex-MT designer of my blogs and hostess of PINOYexpats. When I was still using Confessions of a Coke Addict, Jio came up with a graphic of a Coke-addict snowboarder wearing baro't saya. And then, when I gave birth to JP and changed my Online Journal of a Working Mom, Y did this and this for me. And one day, Antonette just sent me a mail with a new one and I have been using it since.

Check out PINOYexpats' headers (one of a homesick Pinay in Paris and another of a homesick Pinoy in SF), as well. They were made by the very talented Cynthia Gauzon, who also happens to be a batchmate of my cousin in UP.

I really am lucky to know all those people. They have made my online home a lot nicer… and cheaper!
